The
Dotse-Manyo family of Tsiyinu has demonstrated an exemplary act of kindness and
community spirit by donating a collection of used clothes and shoes to the
students of Tsiyinu M/A Basic School. The generous gesture, made on the 4th
October, 2024, brought smiles and relief to many students, reinforcing the
values of care and solidarity within the community.
The
presentation ceremony was held on the school premises, where members of the
Dotse-Manyo family handed over the items to the school authorities in the
presence of students, staff, and some community members. The donated items,
carefully selected to meet the needs of the children, included clothing of
various sizes and shoes in excellent condition.
Speaking at
the event, a representative of the Dotse-Manyo family, Charles, emphasized
their commitment to supporting education and improving the well-being of young
learners in the Tsiyinu community. “We believe that no child should face
unnecessary challenges that hinder their education. This donation is our way of
contributing to their comfort and confidence as they pursue their studies,” the
representative remarked.
The
headteacher of Tsiyinu M/A Basic School, Seshie Mawuli Maxwell, expressed
profound gratitude on behalf of the school. “This act of generosity will go a
long way in boosting the morale of our students and ensuring that some of their
basic needs are met. We are truly grateful to the Dotse-Manyo family for their
thoughtfulness,” the headteacher stated.
Students who
received the items also shared their excitement and appreciation. “I am very
happy to get new clothes and shoes. It will help me look smart in school,” said
one of the beneficiaries with a beaming smile.
The Tsiyinu
community has always valued collective support, and this gesture by the
Dotse-Manyo family further cements their role as a pillar of benevolence in the
area. The donation not only provides practical assistance but also serves as an
inspiration for other families and groups to contribute to the well-being of
the community.
